Problem Note 51664: SAS® Model Manager performance tasks return a Java error when running a SAS® Enterprise Miner(tm) SPK that includes a SAS® Credit Scoring flow

DetailsAboutRate It

In SAS Model Manager, running a performance task for a champion model might return the following Java error:

ava.lang.RuntimeException:
java.lang.RuntimeException:
java.lang.NullPointerException com.sas.modelmanager.impl.PerformanceMonitorTaskDelegate.savePerformanceMonitorTask(PerformanceMonitorTaskDelegate.java:130)    sun.reflect.GeneratedMethodAccessor383.invoke(Unknown Source) sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.java:25) java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:597) org.springframework.aop.support.AopUtils.invokeJoinpointUsingReflection(AopUtils.java:309) org.springframework.aop.framework.ReflectiveMethodInvocation.invokeJoinpoint(ReflectiveMethodInvocation.java:183) org.springframework.aop.framework.ReflectiveMethodInvocation.proceed(ReflectiveMethodInvocation.java:150)

The error is generated when the champion model is an imported SAS Enterprise Miner model package that contains a SAS® Credit Scoring diagram flow. The error occurs because SAS Model Manager is expecting that the Interactive Grouping node (IGN) is followed immediately by a Scorecard node. This succession is not a requirement within SAS Enterprise Miner.

The workaround is to ensure that the IGN node is followed by a Scorecard node.
